A newly found friend, I have in Gouache. 

This is a beautiful marriage of the wonderful aspects of both acrylic and watercolor paints to include the characteristics that cause frustration as well. I can do anything with gouache that I can with acrylic or watercolor minus thick layers. I can even combine any combination of the three mediums on one sheet of paper if I wanted to. Acrylic may hold the lead in completed works but I feel Gouache will be an amazing tool that is going to give me the skills I need to become the freelance artist I know I can be along with your support.
